Annual Plant Sale – May 15-16
Looking for unusual or inexpensive plants? Need gardening advice? Visit our 2026 plant sale.
Hours: May 15 (2:30 to 6:30 pm) & May 16 (10 am to 2 pm).
Location: Ellenwood Recreation Center, 124 Ellenwood, Room 4, Bedford, Ohio.
Plants come from local nurseries and from member gardens. You’ll find perennials, annuals, vegetables and herbs. For the best selection, come early.
All are welcome. Bedford Garden Club members are invited to a pre-sale and get 10% off their order. Individual membership is only $15; you can become a member at the plant sale to get your 10% savings!
The plant sale raises money to help fund Bedford Garden Club projects in the City of Bedford.
Annual Arbor Day Tree Planting
Every year, The Bedford Garden Club sponsors the planting of a tree within the City of Bedford.
These plantings help Bedford maintain its status as a Tree City, a designation bestowed upon the City by the Arbor Day Foundation for maintaining a healthy tree population.
Historically, Arbor Day tree plantings have taken place at the Veterans Memorial of Bedford Cemetery, Bedford Commons, Veteran’s Park in downtown Bedford, the MetroParks, and City Hall to name a few.
